Fine, the Cherokees can oust the descendants of their former slaves. And then the descendants of former slaves can sue for reparations, which will be worth a lot more than their citizenship in the Cherokee Nation. Is that a win-win?

I would give the notice out of self-protection, but I have been very aware that since the 80s loyalty has been more or less a one-way street. Employers set those rules and I am not surprised that a lot of employees have finally gotten the message.

The employment situation will not recover for many years. Along with the other factors at play, this is where corporations get the benefit of globalization and employees pay the price. Obama is right, we will have to build new industries.
As unemployment rates rise, so do the number of uninsured Americans. Will Obama be able to pull off his plan with more people in need?

When Mexicans come here illegally, they give up access to national healthcare in Mexico. All they have to do if they have a major illness is manage to get back home.

I believe it is within the President's authority to order the IRS to expedite resolution of every tax issue that involves the public trust, i.e., that involves an elected official or employee of any level of government. No stalling allowed.
